Instructions for adding an Extender

| 1. Add an 6-8 in. extender (gray) to the leader loop (green) using clinch knot. 2. Tie a loop onto the extender (gray). 3. Attach your tippet (blue). Note: Extender material must be stronger than tippet. The extender will protect the tip loop from accidental cutting with your nippers, and add much life to your furled leader since the extender can be easily replaced. |
